Cancer Awareness Camp & General Medical Camps by VT Vijayawada
Inspired by the motivation given by the founder Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji for social service, VT volunteers have taken up the Cancer Pre-Detection and Screening Programme in several aread in and around Vijayawada.
Several Cancer awareness and detection camps for women & General Medical camps were conducted by VT across villages and rural areas.

Cancer Awareness & Detection Camp was conducted by VT Vijayawada for a week from July 22nd to July 30th in Tarigoppala & Vempadu villages. About 448 women participated. Many VT Vijayawada volunteers & VT Manukonda volunteers participated in this free camp organized by Kotagiri Saradhi & K Sridevi. Dr. Ammanni & Subbalakshmi offered exceptional service through out the whole day.
About 151 people were tested.

- General: 42
- Pregnancy related problems: 16 persons

Cancer Awareness and Detection Camp conducted by VT Vijayawada in and around Vijayawada area. Dr. Subba Raoji from NRI Hospital gave a powerpoint presentation on cancer awareness. About 500 people attended. This event was organized in association with Triveni College Director Sriman M.V. Rao, Principal & Lecturer Sriman V.V.N. Prasad.
