STATE LEVEL SPORTS MEET FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED

ORGANISED BY Jeeyar Gurukulam School "NETHRAVIDYALAYA"  VIZIANAGARAM
Nov 11th to 14th 2006

Children competed in 19 different events at state level competitions.

These children are very sharp and resourceful in using Braille script. They recite Slokas, write essays especially in depicting literary dramas of Indian Heritage. They are brilliant in participating in quizzes, and elocution.

Yes! Blind children played cricket, played kabaddi, and volleyball too!!




HH Sri Swamiji blessed the children and the program by name “Sphurthy (Inspiration) ” went on in a grand manner participated by many sports enthusiasts and dignitaries. Everybody watched the blind children performing the sports events. Every child enjoyed the events in high spirits of healthy competition and good performance. Students from 18 Schools from all over the state have participated in this event.

HH Sri Swamiji blessed and encouraged all the participants. Many students won prizes for their exceptional performance.
